The goal-setting tool Vision Board unexpectedly appeared in front of me twice within the first 10 days of the new year - first at the Productivity Summit hosted by Ali Abdaal, and then at my company’s team-building event, where we gathered to create our own Bingo/Vision board for 2025.

Not too long ago, some of my coworkers kindly shared their vision boards for 2025, and I felt truly inspired seeing what they hope to achieve. Their goals range from traveling and exercising to cooking and making specific career advancements.

I remember attending a similar event last year, but I didn’t put much serious thought into creating my own vision board. Now, I feel the need to have one - just to see what I can come up with. A visual representation of my goals, placed somewhere visible at all times, seems like a great way to stay motivated and take action.

I initially created a vision board using Canva, but since printing it out felt like a hassle, I recently decided to get a physical version from Amazon (as shown in my main blog image). The set is pretty nice - it includes a variety of pictures and phrase cards that I can arrange in a binder, allowing me to change things up from time to time.

Here it is, sitting next to my desk, where I can see it all the time. I have no idea if it will make a difference, but having something tangible that radiates positive energy feels like a good thing, no matter what.
