My First Post!
I’ve lost track of how long I’ve owned this domain - probably more than 10 years. I initially set it up using GitHub Pages since it was free and didn’t require dynamic pages. After that first update, I pretty much left it untouched.
It’s insane how much things have changed. Bootstrap used to be the go-to CSS framework back in the day. While it’s still relevant and valuable, it was once my main tool for building this personal site, where I showcased a few screenshots of my work at different companies.

Over the years, I’ve realized that having a personal site isn’t the hard part - keeping it alive is the real challenge. I’ve seen many well-known developers start personal sites to share their work and thoughts, only to struggle with maintaining them. Some managed to post maybe once a month (if you were lucky), while others eventually abandoned their sites in favor of social media platforms like LinkedIn or X. And honestly, I get it.
This time around, with my site refresh, my goal is to reduce friction and maintenance, making it easier for me to share my thoughts, experiences, and day-to-day life.
As an Asian American who immigrated to the U.S. from Hong Kong over 20 years ago, I bring a unique perspective that I hope others will find valuable.
This is just the beginning - I’ll see how far I can go and how well I can commit to it. Stay tuned!
